Read To Lead Podcast
This being a best selling author thing is tough.
I spend a lot of time worried that I’m going to be found out. That people are going to figure out that I don’t have my shit any more together than anyone else and I’m just making it all up as I go along.
And then there are the good days, like the other day when I was on The Read To Lead Podcast with Jeff Brown. First off, Jeff’s a true pro at what he does. Sitting there with my headphones on when his crystal clear, smooth-as-silk, made for radio voice comes through asking me questions, INTERVIEWING ME, about my life, about my words, about my ideas – well, how could I not feel, as in the immortal words of Ron Burgundy, “I’m kind of a big deal.”
And then you look at the rockstar authors who have been on the Read To Lead show before me:
• Seth Godin
• Gary Vaynerchuck
• Chris Brogan
• Dan Miller
• John Maxwell
• Daniel Pink
• Simon Sinek
Let’s go ahead and add one more name to that list
• Terry Lancaster
Kind of a big deal.
In this show, Jeff and I talk about
• The difference between striving for perfection and living a perfectly great life
• How sustainable change is almost always achieved through incremental change
• Why expectations are the enemy of happiness and gratitude is its BFF
And a lot more…
