Just over 3 months ago, Bo started posting a video on Facebook - Every. Damn. Day. And the results have been nothing short of stunning.

The top dog in the sales department at Foothill Ford had been the top dog for 25 years until Bo started on his video streak. Now Bo has been Salesperson of the month for 2 out of the last 3 months.

At first, Bo would spend hours to make a 30 second video, recording and editing dozens of takes, trying to be perfect, but what he found was that those perfect videos didn't generate any more response than just pushing the GO LIVE button and speaking from the heart. In fact, people responded to his imperfection because he seemed more real.

He cautions against being a one trick pony, only talking about the car business, trying to sell a car every time you turn on the camera. He changes his videos up by talking about his family, his hobbies, and helping to promote local small businesses.

Bo offers some advice for getting bashful customers to open up on camera and on how to make more friends on Facebook by taking the ridiculously obvious step of asking more people on Facebook to be your friend.

Finally Bo encourages salespeople to plan every day because without a plan it's way too easy to let the lazy creep back in.

You could just stand around like everyone else waiting on  lot ups and internet leads and BDC appointments, but if you've got a plan to create business for yourself then all that is just icing on the cake.
